DMC & Gulush Threads are putting together a 'Stitch-a-Day' challenge to encourage stitchers all over the world to get their hands busy every day, for the month, with challenges to really make it interesting!
Stitchers old and young, new and experienced are encouraged to 'free stitch' all month long while following these daily challenges:
These challenges are meant to add some fun to this month's free stitch with every seven days being a freestyle day where you are encouraged to use any and all types of hand embroidery stitches, threads, colors, you name it! Although participating in the challenges is desired, please don't feel obligated to stick to anything, especially if your piece begins to evolve into something special.
The challenge is meant to get ourselves creative, not stifle any creativity!
Now, since this is free stitch, your piece can be anything you want it to be - abstract/nonsensical/florals/practice - anything! Try to shoot for at least an hour of stitching a day, if you can! If not, stitch what you can, when you can! Just make sure to post your progress every day on social media (I will perusing the #stitchventure tag on Instagram and sharing my favorites on my IG stories)!
To make this month even sweeter, DMC & Gulush Threads will be giving away some embroidery goodies throughout the month to those participating (and using the #stitchventure hashtag to pick our winners)!
So, get your fingers (and supplies) ready to make this month stitchtastic!
I can't wait to get stitchy with you!
*Any and all questions about the challenge will be answered in the comments below (as well as on my Instagram stories), but you are also free to email at firstname.lastname@example.org!
