Pattern of the Month for March

March 01, 2016 6 Comments

Can you believe that it is already March? Where has the time gone this? Did you get to finish our Kitty Heart Eyes Pattern? That pattern was such a fun one to make, especially with February being the "month of love." Well, March is now upon us and after all of your requests for a floral embroidery pattern, I, gladly, delivered with our Floral #2 Embroidery Pattern!

Available in our #STITCHVENTURE subscription or as a single pattern (on our website y'all, no more Etsy!), you can easily complete this pattern with just ONE STITCH (aka outline the entire pattern with a single back stitch). But, for the more adventurous stitchers, this pattern can also be completed with a bunch of more difficult stitches like a satin stitch to fill in the different parts or french knots to add some texture and depth. Experiment with your favorite stitches and colors to make this floral piece perfect for you (or someone you love)!

Psst - if you subscribe to our #STITCHVENTURE this month, you will get an exclusive pattern of one of my crowd favorites, the WILD AND FREE hoop! This pattern is available for just this month and ONLY available through our subscription!

Also - Don't forget our live stream! On March 13th, I'll be doing a live stream of the floral pattern where I walk you through it, share some insight on what makes me tick, and answer any and all questions you might have! Sounds fun, right? Totally. So be there or be square!

Now, while ya'll are getting to working on this pattern, I'm busy sketching up my next one (and I always want to make sure I'm making products that you guys enjoy)! So, Sound off below in the comments with what you would love to see in future patterns (or tell me your favorite floral types) and I'll select one commenter to win a free FLORAL #2 EMBROIDERY PATTERN!!

Good luck to all of you and I'll see you next month!!

Not sure why I never saw your blog but so glad I found it because I was curious when you were going to do the video for this one, I have it all traced but I’m a little scared to start. Will you also go over the letters?

This is beautiful! I would love to see poppies or morning glories! Poppies are my daughter’s birth month flower, so we do all things poppy.

So beautiful!!!! Looking forward to the live stream! I love any florals, but I especially love the vintage look, and I like your hoops where the florals are more of a border to words, like the heart floral you have in your shop and the “all of me loves all of you” hoop you have in the shop with the greenery and flowers as a border. So cute!! Thanks so much for the chance to win! :)

Hello! My name is Amanda, and I purchased a 3 month stitchventure subscription yesterday! Really excited to get going on it! But I didn’t receive the bonus pattern, “Wild and Free”. Did I purchase the wrong subscription?
Also, I really LOVE peonies, lavender, roses, and forget-me-nots, and would be so excited to see these in future patterns!

I love your stuff so much and am starting to get into embroidery myself. :) It’s so relaxing!
Florals are my favorite, especially if they involve roses. Also, cute animals don’t hurt either.
